Leanne's Pumpkin Dessert

6 eggs
1 lg. can (2 1/2 cups) pumpkin
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp salt
1 can evaporate milk (add regular milk to make 2 cups)
1 yellow cake mix
1 cube butter

Mix all together except cake mix and butter. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan. Cut butter into cake mix as if you were making a pie dough. Sprinkle this mixture over the pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. When cool, frost with Cool Whip and top with chopped nuts.
