I didn't have anywhere else to put my starts this year, so they went on a garage shelf under grow lights...
My wife has gotten used to me commandeering part of the dining room for my plants each March .... Here, the young starts are kept warm and secure beneath the grow lights...
Here is how my father-in-law starts his tomatoes ... very organized!
Here are the bare-root strawberries I purchased and potted Friday. It’s Sunday today (Go Ravens!) and these have been growing about three-quarters of an inch per day.
Here are the tomato and onion starts near our back window, beneath the grow lights! I have several tables set up – this is the one that gets the best light. The others, near the wood stove, are for seed germination.
Here are the Territorial Seed “Plum Dandy” tomato starts. I have never grown them, but was so excited (as any true gardener!) to see them start poking up out of the soil.
And here are more of the youngsters – still too young and tender to go into the greenhouse. Lots of tomatillos, peppers, onions and more!
